Alright hold on. Honest question. Why the fuck do you have blue hair?
Where do you live (or maybe how old are you) that it's startling for someone to have blue hair? It's just a fashion statement-- it's no weirder than having tattoos, and I see loads of middle-aged people with visible tattoos daily.
It's really not that uncommon to see unusual hair colours on young people any more, especially not in any kind of major urban centre. One of the girls who works the front desk of my building has purple hair; I don't think it has negatively impacted her ability to do her job in any way. A friend of mine had fire-engine red for a while, along with a full-time teaching position.
Because 21, in school, work at a place that doesn't care, my wife makes the makes the money, and most of all, because I can. I have a blue mowhawk that I won't be able to have for very long. It's like 3ish ft long, and going to have to go in about a year. Just getting mileage out of it I guess.
Are you unable to wear headphones with all that hair? I don't know if I could live without headphones.
Why would a mowhawk get it in the way of headphones? The more popular headphones are ear buds.
Wouldn't the mohawk get in the way of the band that wraps around your head? You'd have to smush all the hair down to get it to rest on your skull.
It's too long to wear up so I wear it in a pony tale most of the time. So not for me.

I mean, it's mostly I just don't really care for what people I see in public think of me. Not in the edgy I don't give a fuck way, more like, im gonna go ahead and do this because why not. I am blessed with the opportunity to be able to do this with no negative repercussions, and I am happy with the way I look. I go to great lengths to make sure I look well groomed and we'll kept despite my unconventional looks. Does that make sense? Have you ever wanted to do something for but we're afraid of what people would think? It's just that, but I pulled the trigger. I haven't ever really fit in with the "trendy" crowd anyway, I mean my wife and friends are very much the nerds and outcast, so it's easier to get away with. Hopefully this isn't giving off to much of the wrong vibe, it's hard to articulate yourself online, and I'm no professional quote maker.
