A few months ago, I crowdsourced Rooster Teeth and Game Grumps custom expansions for the popular online CAH clone "Pretend You're Xyzzy" through Reddit. Now, though, I'm looking to make one based on this horribly amazing subreddit.
For those of you that somehow don't know what CAH is, here's the copy-and-pasted explanation I always use for these posts:
>Cards Against Humanity is Apples to Apples for horrible people. If you don't know what that is, then here's the basic rules of CAH:
>>To start the game, each player draws ten white "answer" cards. One randomly chosen player begins as the Card Czar, and plays a black "question" card. The Card Czar reads the question out to the group. Each player answers the question by passing one white "answer" card, face down, to the Card Czar. The Card Czar shuffles all of the answers, reads them out loud in a humorous fashion, and picks their favorite. Whoever played that answer gets to keep the Black Card as one Awesome Point. After each round, a new player becomes the Card Czar, and every player draws back up to ten cards.
>White cards can range from things like "The boners of the elderly" or "The depression that ensues after catching em' all," while black cards can be things like "I learned the hard way that you can't cheer up a grieving friend with (white card)." or "When all else fails, I can always masturbate to (white card)."
>Using the four examples above, phrases like "I learned the hard way that you can't cheer up a grieving friend with the boners of the elderly." and "When all else fails, I can always masturbate to the depression that ensues after catching em' all." can be created. And that's just four cards out of hundreds.
And now we're doing that, but with TiA. Submit your card ideas here, and in a week or two me and EFS will go through the list, remove all the unfunny shit, and send it off to the guy that runs the site.
